Children’s National Hospital
Children’s National Hospital relies on generous giving to push forward innovation in technology, retaining staff at the top of their fields, and investment in forward-thinking medicine. Their 360-approach knows that good healthcare starts in the community and is for everyone, regardless of access.
AFundraising efforts are ongoing, but are anchored in a large in-person event held every fall towards EOY. But in 2021 the event was moved to virtual, meaning we would have to reach people with content. With 2 and a half weeks until the event, we regrouped and pulled together a tiny team to shoot 6 videos worth of footage over a period of 5 days. It took a village of covid safety experts, nimble camera teams, flexible creative, and many late nights to pull this series together in such a tight timeline. But the event was very successful, even securing large donations from the top 1% members of the guest list. We did it!
Novant Health UVA Health System
In 2020-22 we produced an immeasurable amount of fully-integrated content to continuously update patients on the state of COVID, CDC regulations, and the ability to see patients. This required us to create a few highly flexible and adaptable content pieces that could go out in multiple languages, didn’t require in hospital filming, and reaffirmed commitment to safety protocol. This is one of my favorite examples.
Carle Hospital - Brand
We were approached by Carle to develop a new campaign that not only celebrated over 100 years in the Champaign-Urbana area, but that also thanked the community for being the living, breathing reason for doing every they do. We looked to the actual community as our inspiration and community members for our talent. The result was a sweet, personal spot that differentiates Carle from the sea of in-hospital marketing.
Instacare - Carle Hospital
Carle approached us with a new medical visitation platform in the form of an app. Powered by MDLive, this tool allows patients to video chat with a doctor online 24/7. This revolutionary new method of practice was a brand new offering for Carle. Our task was to brand the tool. We called it "InstaCare" and relied on iconic graphics to prompt new users. This campaign has been hugely successful and has lowered waiting room volume, patient costs, and reinstated Carle as an advanced competitive hospital.
3d Mammography - Carle
In April of 2016, Carle implented 3D mammography tech into their hospital system. Though they were hesitant to stray from their traditional branding in print, we were able to explore the inspiration of 3D Technology in social tactics that were hugely successful in spreading the message.
This light hearted play was hugely engaging, and struck curiosity for existing patients as we encouraged them to "See More of the picture with 3D Mammography."
Nurse Recruitment - Carle
There is a national shortage of qualified nurses in the United States, making recruitment and retention highly competitive. To attract talent, we were asked to bring some extra ideas that might be a little bit more aggressive to Carle's search for top local candidates. Using geofencing, we targeted nearby competitor hospital systems with a snapchat filter demonstrating how great life was at Carle. This campaign was hugely successful in changing the opinion about Carle's office culture in general.
